I gave this scope 5 stars because it is an amazingly good scope for the price. This scope was recommended by a couple friends so I thought I'd try one. I have many scopes --Bushnell Elite 3500, 4500, and 6500, Leupold VX-2, VX-3 and VX-6, as well as Weaver Classics and Grand Slams, and a Nightforce Competition, so I'm pretty sure I know a good scope when see (through) one. The outer finish is very nicely done, and the optics on this scope are very good -- bright, sharp and clear -- and the side focus is convenient and appears to be accurate. I've not had an opportunity to check the repeatability of the adjustments, but I'm betting they will be quite good. It's a nice "package" and well worth the $.

Wanted to buy a moderate priced scope for my Kidd 10/22 (22lr)and ended up choosing the Bushnell Legend after seeing a few good reviews. After a professional installation (borescope as well), it came in to adjustment in a couple of rounds and has been holding true since. Have made three trips to the range already, and have shot about 100 rounds and out to 100 yards.

Bought for cheap due to an blast ad........imagine my surprise when it performed as well as my Sig Series Burris and Viper PSt. Repeatability, clarity, holds zero.....every aspect of this scope performs like an 800 dollar scope........for 149.00 shipped. I should've ordered 10 more! They're that good or I got the best "Wednesday" scope of all time.

I recently purchased a Nikon Monarch scope for my 22-250 and paid a fare amount of money for it. It's an excellent scope with great clarity and function as well as many more expensive scopes. Next I picked up a .17 WSM which is a really fun rifle to shoot. I didn't want to spend as much for a scope for this rifle because the monarch scope would have cost as much as I paid for the rifle. After reading numerous reviews about the Bushnell Legend Ultra HD I decided to give it a try. This scope at less than half the price of the Nikon performs almost as good in every way. Clarity and functionality are awesome and I can't say enough good things about it. There are less expensive scopes out there but when you are shooting out beyond 100 yards they just do not have the clarity that you need. They tend to have a hazy or foggy image.
Best Used for:
- long range and precision shooting

The Bushnell legend ultra HDs is a great line of scopes. They are very clear and i cannot imagine using another scope without side focus again. everything feels like high quality on this scope. I have the 4-14x version on my savage a22 and i have the 3-9 version on my custom 10/22.

I have several of these scopes and at present I use them on my midrange rifles such as 223, 204 etc. Functionality is excellent and very easy. The clarity of the glass is right up there with scopes I have paid much more for and the consistency in reproduction between shots is excellent. Dollar for dollar I don't know how anyone can beat it. I definitely recommend this scope!

I got this a while back to replace an old Tasco (japanese glass) 6-18x 40mm that was on my little .223 Rem coyote setup. So far so good. Glass is clear, it is a little tough to see well in low light - but for the price class; i would say this could be your best option.
Turrets track decent for the money (not well enough to use as a target/range scope, but pretty well for hunting), side focus is solid (better than the Nikon Prostaff 5 and real close to the Vortex Diamondback HP).
With Bushnell doing good rebates and sales from time to time, and now changing up their warranty to compete with Vortex, you can't go wrong with this.
It is a little heavy, but it's a great scope for your dollar.
I would like to see the MilDot reticle option in the 3-9x Legend, but this is a good magnification range for what it is used for.

Bought this for my fourth Tikka T3 and it completes an excellent package. The scope is bright and clear which I have grown accustom to with these scopes. For the money they are rugged and the best bang out there, especially when bushnell and optics planet put them on sale. A good product and great place to purchase it! Comes wth sun shade and lens covers and has a lifetime warrenty.
