I have not taken this device hunting yet. I have however taking it out into the field a completed a series of measurements. The light-gathering ability that this device is as advertised. When I would take readings from 40 yards to 200 yards the device was consistent meaning when I went back to previous targets it recorded the same measurement down to the yard. Display numbers are in black but are easy to read and the device has a very fast response time. My opinion is that it is an excellent Rangefinder for the money. All so kudos to opticsplanet for being on the ball with shipping and delivery.
