Very good scope for under 200 yards. I have one on my Remington 11-87 12 gauge deer shotgun and one on my Marlin 1895 45-70 lever action rifle. Good wide field of view. I like the circle X radicle it is great for a moving target. Great warranty .

Scope is being used on muzzle loader and is the correct power for up to 150 yards, probably would be good on a shotgun for slugs. Scope was clear enough for the range intended, 100 yard parallax, good price for the quality.

I ended up with a shotgun that had a slug barrel included. I had never used a slug gun, but I wanted to take a deer with one. I wanted a decent scope, but did not want to break the bank on an experiment.
I put this scope (matte version) on and used about six rounds to get it zeroed in. I really like the reticle. It went with me to the stand the next day and I had a nice chance on a good sized doe. The scope performed perfectly. (Can't say the same for the slug I was using.) Put the shot exactly where I knew it should go. The distance was about 90 yards. I stayed in the stand for the rest of legal light (about 45 more minutes after I shot) and never did get to where I couldn't have picked out a deer among the grass and weeds in that field (max distance about 125 yards.) It does not match a VX 3 in similar power I have for clarity and brightness, but is pretty close, especially when you consider the price difference.
For a hunt of a lifetime with a gun of my dreams, I would save for a better scope, but for a day-to-day meat gatherer, I would highly recommend. You will seldom need more than you can reasonably from a scope in this power class.

I mounted this scope of a 870 slug gun in the woods I hunt shots over 75 yards are uncommon this scope fits the bill perfectly. The field of view and clarity of the scope make it a perfect combo when in thick woods. I liked it so much that I have one on a 30-30 Marlin also
Pros:
- Small and light weight
- Great eye relief
- field of view

Great scope for this price range, and I can take it out in public without the stigma of "cheap foreign glass", even though its assembled in malaysia (but hey, at least its not china) it feels quality, looks quality, and so far operates quality. There is a little edge distortion on lowest mag. setting, but that's common in this type/price range of optic, and it is worlds apart from the acid trip visuals I have experienced with bsa, etc. If these could be made domestically they would be class leading, but then again at that point they would be leupold... however, I rate the whole package (OptiPlan. and this scope) excellent.
Pros: great value, good to very good glass, variable magnification
Cons: jeez, just make it in america already...

This is my second Bushnell Trophy XLT 1.75-4x32. I have two uppers that I use for 3 gun competition. There are more expensive tactical scopes but everyone that peers through this loves it. You put the circle on the plate and pull the trigger.
Pros: bright - Circle X reticle makes for fast target acqusition
Cons: none.
