Excellent shooting accessory - Bushnell Banner Laser Boresighter Kit

After much frustration while trying to align scopes with rifle bores using the caliber-specific laser boresighters, I followed the suggestion of John Barsness (who I regard as a trustworthy shooting writer), and got the Bushnell collimator. The "cartridge lasers" I had purchased previously didn't maintain position adequately, wouldn't switch on and off reliably and used up their batteries before I could get lined in during fading twilight. The last one I used wouldn't keep the laser dot in the same place after removing and then rechambering it. The manufacturer would have replaced it (and had previously), but I decided to get the Bushnell collimator instead. It did what it was supposed to do the first time. No tiny batteries to go dead prematurely. No small end caps to lose off the shooting bench. No time pressure at last light. Got on paper at 100 yards the first shots.

My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.
