Great product it is my second one. Lost first one. Tried laser bore sighters and hard to see in bright light. After sighting in you can put put back in and right down graph reading for each gun. You can recheck zero with out firing a shot.

Hade several older boresight kits. BSA , for being cheaper, lasted a while. This kit does everything I need well. arbors take a bit to get used to, but fit securely and seem to be true on grid. is a bit of a struggle to see well thru a reddot, but does work. Wish the slots were a bit deeper for arbor screw to lock in.
Best Used for:
- Fixed and variable power scopes.

It is super easy to use, works for nearly all rifles, and will get your rifle on paper... what more can I say? The only issue I have had at all is that it does not gather light well, so I had to set up a lamp by the end of my bench to make the grid easier to see. Not a big deal at all.
Pros:
- comes with case
- Funcionality
- Ease Of Use

The Bushnell Banner Boresighter is built extremely heavy duty. It fits snug in the rifle bore. The ability to get the scope as close as the boresighter gets it is awesome. The only slight flaw I had was in the barrel of a .22lr the arbor was extremely tight. Thought maybe i had it tightened some but when I loosened it the end fell off. Put it back together and still stuck. But with a little ease it got in there and did the job.
Pros:
- durable
- Easy use
- Fast setup

Had attempted to bore sight manually using a distant aiming point (DAP); really thought with a small caliber (6.5). Wasted too much AmmoSeek trying to zero. This system gets you back on target quickly.

This product is the best all around purchase I have made in years it is all I expected and more, it does what it says and is made very well, the arbors stay put and has a clear view to adjust the scope with, I can also brag about the price that OpticsPlanet has and the 30 for 30 rebate that Bushnell gave me! I recommend this bore sighter to anyone

Bought it for my father in law he loves it. He had an older model and had lost one of the pieces so got him this one. He said it is better because he can even use it to sight it the air rifle that he just purchased.

I am extremely happy with my purchase and have used it on numerous scopemswaps for myself and others. I especially like the way the insert into the bore expands and holds the screen in place without a second person being needed. It is dead on!!!

The AR15, G3, CETME C, and many others have scopes too high to use this as is. However there are extensions that will work with this. Look up boresight on Brownells to see examples. Someone with a mill can easily make one.

This unit (or similiar ones) has been around for a long time. It is very nicely made. I am happy with purchase.
When assembling, be sure locking screw (B) registers against the flat on a properly sized arbor. Make sure arbor is fully inserted into bore when screw (A) is tightened. Boresighter with arbor will need to be rotated until optical grid pattern is square with you sights/scope.
Note that basic sights/scope adjustment against the boresighter cross-hairs will only setup your sights/scope to line up with the bore axis. The bore axis is a theoretical straight line, but the bullet (in reality) travels in an arc. You will therefore still have to make allowances for bullet drop at the paper target distance you choose. Start close in and work you way out, and you "can't miss".
