I've been looking for something like this for years. This is a great quick detach scope cover once you have it set up correctly. There is a recessed ring on each side of each cover. This allows it to fit a variety of scopes. As long as you have the proper size as well as the proper tension on the connecting bands it will stay on your scope until you want it off. It will take some adjusting of the bands to get the cover to release how you want it, but I had mine working perfect for me after just a few minutes. With a quick flick of my thumb the cover comes off. Adjusting the tension and placement of the bands is essential to the cover releasing properly. It's not rocket science though. A little common sense is all you need.
If I remember correctly, Optics Planet had the best description so check the number to ensure you are getting the right covers for your scope. There are 3 different options I believe. I am very happy with it.
