Excellent value for money
If you are after a good value for money speed gun then I doubt you will find a better one than this for the price.
Pros: Easy to use, lightweight and compact. I purchased this to check speed of RC cars. I did the job well and you can easily switch from KM/hr to MPH. Also takes C size batteries which...

Bushnell 10-1911
Used it for a short time then stored the 10-1911 in its bag in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. The entire surface of the gun became sticky and gooey and unusable. Discovered just beyond warranty and Bushnell would do nothing. Had to throw it out. Another bad petrochemical packagi...

very useful tool
Bought this product to measure the speed of clay targets exiting our trap houses. The unit works great, reads the speed of targets averaging 42-43 mph measured from the rear of the trap house. Accuracy was checked with a chronograph. Readings do vary from 40-44 mph depending on the wind speed and direction. Nice radar gun for the money.
Pros:
- good price
- Accurate
- easy to use.
Cons:
- None

poor packaging
I bought one and it didn't work. I got another sent and it didn't work either. It clocks a wall or floor 137 mph. No foam in the packaging is probably the problem. I might try one more time ,but I'm not very optimistic.

Rc airplane use
When I ordered it I was not sure I would be able to measure speed of RC airplane but it was in fact very easy and precise too. We are doing races and RC planes are sometime small but fast but this radar acquire speed quickly and aiming is very easy too which gives you good results each time.
Pros: Very easy to use and effective!

radar gun
Works as expected. would be nice if it came with a padded storage bag instead of the thin nylon that is included with the gun.

Do Not Buy This Product!
I purchased the Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun / Sports Radar Gun 101911 to measure speeds of a baseball, after reading that it was "accurate to within 1.0 MPH." This could not be further from the truth. The radar gun does not gauge speeds quickly enough for use with a baseball - the radar gun displayed "66 MPH" for every single ball traveling in excess of 70, 80, or even 90 MPH.
To test this theory, I then attempted to use the radar gun on cars, and discovered that it would not register the correct speed unless it was pointed at the car for 5 seconds OR MORE. Otherwise, it would simply display "22 MPH." This is not acceptable for a radar gun claiming to make it "easy to measure the speed of a car, a baseball ..." and so on.
Due to OpticsPlanet's horrible return policy, which does not allow for refunds unless the product is unused, and in it's original packaging, I am stuck with this colossal waste of money. I would highly recommend AGAINST purchasing this gun, and if you are interested in purchasing some type of radar gun, do NOT deal with OpticsPlanet.
I will also be posting this review in several forums, on Facebook, and so on.

Nice gun for the money - but...
I knew when I bought this that it was on the 'low end'. My main reason for buying this was to use as a guage for my son when he was doing his pitching workouts. When I'm right there behind him the gun works flawlessly. When I tried to use it at a recent game, I couldn;t get a reading. The team's gun worked fine (about $800 I was told) but not mine. I tried from the seats right behind home plate and even went right up to the fence; still nothing. The unit is supposed to pick up a baseball from 90-100 feet, but I think the fence maybe added a bit of interference.
Anyway, Like I said, I knew up front that this gun was going to be used mainly as a training tool, and for that, it works just fine.
Pros: price, price, price
Cons: you get what you pay for
