Good middle ground between not using alignment rods and just sending it, vs. checking with high-dollar options. As advertised, straight and true. Good quick check after install.

Don't fall for the paid influencer reviews online. This thing is absolute garbage. The bolts and nuts do not torque to spec. I own a number of high-end torque wrenches for optics mounting. As I typically do when mounting optics, I start with a lower torque setting across the platform and then finish everything off with the manufacturer's spec. Numerous bolts would not stop spinning and the two specialty trigger housing bolts were stripped. I was left with a number of different lengths of bolt sticking out the other side of the stock.
I can't imagine dissembling and reassembling as needed to clean the firearm with all these bolts and nuts not functioning.
If Desert Tech had any sort of customer service, then maybe I'd not have such a negative experience. I've called them numerous times (never answer), emailed their warranty support, and filed an online warranty claim. Haven't heard anything in a month.
Desert Tech stole my $300, so I guess I'll move on to a different stock platform.
