I Highly recommend this unit
I love mine to pieces
the digital zoom is amazing
works in day or night (with IR cap removed)
use good quality batteries and it gives you a few hours of operational time, the more you run the IR illumination the less battery life you get
I use an additional IR flashlight with mine, works great
Oh I adore the tripod mount these have for scanning large fields, woods etc, makes getting videos easier
I only give it 4 stars because there is no audio capture ability or helmet mount capability which would make this great unit even superior for hunting purposes
I say the video and image quality is equal to a 6MP camera or camcorder
you see in color with these, not green !
