Ammo of the pandemic

Decent ammo, penetrating stuff, ammo that’s oddly available under these trying terrible times. Well biden just opened his mouth again, and I’m low on ammo so I guess I’ll buy some. It’s brings tears to my eye to pay these prices but with OP bucks and a coupon from this review, it’s helps. All together good clean brass, decent packaging and not to filthy when shooting suppressed.

Aero parts kit install

Comes in a box with a sticker! Good parts for any lower out there! I buy these in groups usually! Always good for installing for or a spare kit if you lose something along the way! Better name than Anderson and PSA to stick in your rifle by far.

Super precision right here! Looks are half the battle, this catch looks and feels awesome! Only thing is while using antirotation pins it can rub the catch some while still being functional. Works great on aero, spikes, Wilson, bcm, & rock river receivers.
Aero gas pipes

Aero makes good parts 9/10 times. Came with a coool sticker. I have multiple pipes from aero, of all different lengths. they all seem to do the job with every type of gas block I can throw at it. Just don’t lose your roll pin and you’ll be in good shape
MLOK RAIL COVERS

BCM makes a good light rail, probably fits on better than Geissele in my opinion. While these rail covers look good on any Mlok rail, they surprisingly have great texture. With gloves or with out. Even in wet conditions.
Aero BCG quality

This is my third aero BCG! I’ve bought every single small part aero makes! Also have two rails, one 15 inch With a 16 inch barrel to match and one 12inch Rail. They are a little to proud of their logo on all there items but the quality is there along with the price will continue buying from them through optics.

Faxon 6.5 Grendel BCG quality control issues

Purchased this bolt along with a Faxon fluted barrel to match. After I assembled the AR using the faxon barrel and BCG I couldn’t get the rifle to cycle. After trouble shooting( this issue was obviously gas related), I changed out the gas block to adjustable type. When reassembling, I happened to find that the Gas key was not flush to the carrier of the BCG because of metal shavings that weren’t cleared after Faxon originally drilled the 2 gas key thread holes which allowed Gas to escape instead of driving the bolt back to cycle another round. After cleaning up the surface and reassembling the BCG the rifle has cycled with no issue. Although this could be one BCG out of a thousand, QC should have still caught this!

Aero FDE upper 6.5 bolt fitment

On a FDE Aero upper, My Faxon 6.5 Grendel BCG would not slide in correctly or operate into this the upper when it’s coated in FDE, Although a 5.56 BCG would fit just fine. It seems that the anodizing was laid on to thick. I may be able to run it if light sanding and filing takes place to remove some of the finish.The faxon 6.5 grendel BCG would fit however in other Aero uppers I have that are not FDE. Aero seems to make good stuff, it’s just that in this case the coating was laid on to thick for a different caliber BCG other than a 5.56.
