I purchased this for a LED RMR thinking that it might work but Optics Planet's description is correct it's just for the Dual Power model. As of my purchase of this killFlash Trijicon's website says its compatible with all models not just the Dual Power. My other concerns are it’s could use a front mounting tab that would keep it from shifting in the front and keep it from coming off completely. I’m afraid with such weak mounting that just a minor bump or brush by a sling could cause it to come off. I'm not thrilled with how dark it seemed to make the field of view. I understand there's not much of a way around that but still worse than I expected. The MSRP on this is a bit high in my opinion too.

I've come to expect high quality items from Surefire and this is no exception. I had a hard time making the decision to go with this model over the UE07 basic switch tail cap for my Surefire M300 Mini Scout. There is a considerable price difference but it's well worth it for the extra features. I thought there might be an issue with the button being too small or positioned incorrectly but Surefire thought of that. The housing clocks independently of the threaded portion so you can position it exactly where you want it. I found the button to be perfectly placed and of adiquate size for depressing with your thumb using a vertical grip. I find it easier to put even pressure on the switch than the stock switch that comes with Surefire Scout lights. The unit doesn't add an appreciable amount of weight or bulk to the whole package. Like all other Surefire products the fit and finish are second to none in the industry. Well worth the asking price.

I received this from Optics Planet quickly and at the cheapest price around. Very satisfied with all my orders from them. I wish I could say the same for the killFlash. The design seemed easy enough to install. When I attempted to attach it there wasn't any obvious means of doing so. I emailed Trijicon about the problem because it's not included with directions. The customer service rep got with the product manager and confirmed my suspicions that it's not compatible with the models it suggests in the discription from the manufacturer. This was quite disappointing because Trijicon does not make lens caps or killFlash that fits my model and it doesn't look like there is aftermarket support either. Otherwise the product seemed of good quality but the honeycomb is very fragile not like the screw in type or the ones held in by scope caps that some other retailers sell.
