Description for the 11.5 says its uses a patrol length. When in actuality it uses a carbine length. I ordered a patrol length and it was too long so here I am needing to reorder a new gas tube.

I have this mounted on my recent DMR build and i'll say this make it shoot FLAT. Even though a 5.56 rifle barely has any recoil, this really makes it non existent. Whats good about this is if I want to shoot next to a buddy, the taper mount allows for a blast device so that I won't be thumping him with recoil. But that really speaks to the effectiveness of the recoil. Love this thing, it's super affordable, and isn't a super long.

Griffin Armament Paladin Brake Taper Mount
I have one of these mounted on my .308 Bolt action rifle. I really like how much it dissipates the recoil and isn't a super expensive brake. I also like it because if I ever go down to my brother's place I can shoot with his suppressor when we go out to the range together. Although this doesn't come with a thread protector, it's not a big deal. The thread protectors are about 25 bucks and since i'm not doing anything crazy with it they should be fine.

This is an awesome product. It really keeps the muzzle blast down so that you can stay on target for easy follow up shots. Great muzzle device! Even though 5.56 doesn’t have a lot of recoil, it helps for those who are new to shooting or for more experience shooters makes it feel like a .22lr so that there is barely to no recoil.

My rail is slightly too long to use a normal taper mount as the can is too. Fat to fit in the tail and the mounting surface is just under the end of the rail, this flash comp allows the mounting surface to be just past the rails so you can use the qd mount on the suppressor! Great alternative instead of having to buy a whole new rail!
