I went with the ATI stock to add a pistol grip as well as a light to my 10/22 for varmints. So far it’s been great with a few hiccups. First, I love the way it looks, but it feels cheap. Although the pistol grips feels great, the edges are sharp on the rest of the stock. I feel like there are better options for the money. The installation was okay, just a lot of different bolts with only one wrench. Not a big deal, but you’ll have to hunt for a different size wrench for each step. I’ve also found that the magwell is uneven. And this could just be an issue with mine, but when I run a magazine that isn’t the factory 10 round, it doesn’t chamber the round. So far I’ve ran my Ruger 25 and 15 round mags as well as some aftermarket mags, and it seems like when the mag is full it puts pressure on the magazine in a way that causes it not to feed properly. To clarify, I also have a 10/22 with the factory stock and the magazines run fine with no malfunctions. Overall I think the stocks alright, but if you plan on using this for hunting, I’d recommend the factory 10 round magazines. I plan on replacing mine with a Midwest industries chassis.

I love Magpul products. Unfortunately, this one is not the same quality as the rest of their catalog. First, one of the screws it comes with is not the right length. The send you a 10-24 x 3/8 screw and it is too short. Once I resolved that issue, I could not get the stock to stay tight on the receiver. I followed the instructions to the best of my ability and it would still work loose. I love Magpul, and I love the way this stock looks, but I would not recommend buying this. I will be requesting to return this to OP.
