I have now owned the ATPIAL-C for over two years. I am still very pleased with the performance and durability of the product. It has been on my rifle for nearly 10,000 rounds, suffered a few falls, been through serious rainfall, and has not lost zero or suffered any degradation in function. This unit is built like a tank and I would highly recommend the product to anyone. The included remote pressure pad works very well and has also been very durable. If you are skeptical about not having a focusable illuminator, you need not worry. The illuminator has done a great job for me, from indoor (CQB) applications all the way to shooting out to 200 yards under night vision. The illuminator is strong enough to get the job done. There are better illuminators out there like the MAWL-C, but they are double the cost of the ATPIAL-C. In all, the IR laser and illuminator are plenty powerful for indoor/outdoor applications, the mount has been rock solid, and the unit itself has handled everything I have thrown at it. If you are used to using PEQ-15's in the military and want an equally reliable product, look no further. I will be buying more of these in the future!

Whilst the FN509 iron sights were not unusable, I was still looking for something a little better. The main selling point for this pair of sights for me was the fact that the front sight post is thin, giving the post a visible gap on either side when looking through the rear sight, which I like. The sights are bright at night and look excellent in the daytime. Another feature I like is the dark rear sight with the bright orange front sight post. (Or whatever color you buy) This contrast provides lightning fast front sight acquisition, which has greatly enhanced my speed and accuracy. Highly recommend!
