I went on a painstaking quest 2 months ago to find the best binocular I could find. After much searching/spending time with several binoculars, I happily chose the Bushnell Forge 10X42. I am confident, with all the binoculars that I spent time with (from $150 - $2,200), these are the best option. To my eyes, these binoculars absolutely CRUSH everything below $1,000 in the 10X42 category (image quality, low-light performance, ergonomics). These binoculars reach a performance point that rivals many other European brands. At the beginning of my search, I was convinced that I would be able to justify the purchase of some really high-end European glass. The differences between the Bushnell Forge and others with much higher price tags were almost indistinguishable. The accessories included with the binoculars are incredible! I have no doubts about my purchase and would recommend these to anyone! I challenge anyone to give these a try.
