Review for
VISM AR15 M-LOK Carbine Handguard
I bought this to update my old Bushmaster XM15-E2S. It fit perfectly and looks great.
I tried to fit the included Picatinny rails but the supplied M-Lok T-nuts had no cam feature. They cannot rotate in the slot and so the rail cannot be clamped to the handguard :-{

Review for
Primary Arms GLx 6X Magnifier
I have a Holosun HM3X on a PDW and wanted some higher magnification on my AR for longer range.
I tried this with a Holosun ARO red dot and a PA GLX 1x prism.
I could not get a clear image with either. It would be clear then get fuzzy, then become clear. My eyes just didn't like this optic. The eye box was very tight, which meant slow target acquisition as I'd have to do the head dance to see well. The Chevron reticle would be fuzzy on one side or the other depending on my eye position.
I concluded 6x is beyond the useful range of a red dot. I returned it and went with a CVLife 4x, which actually works really well!

VISM AR15 M-LOK Carbine Handguard
I wanted to update my Bushmaster XM15-E2S and decided to try this handguard. It fits perfectly within just a few minutes, and is nice and solid on the rifle. It looks good and with the M-Lok slots, it can accommodate those all-important accessories.
Very pleased with this purchase, though OpticsPlanet could speed up the process of getting parts into USPS' hands!

AR15 must-have!
Written on Jan 22, 2026
I'm updating my OG Bushmaster XM15-E2S. The ARO combined with a Holosun HM3X makes for a great optic system, and really looks the part.
The glass clarity is very good for the price, and while the 22mm sounds small, compared with the Holosun 510C for example, when focused on the target, the ARO body disappears and the reticle is clearly visible.
I have mine set at 1/3 co-witness on a 1/2" rear-extended picatinny riser (to get the magnifier eye relief just right) with a 0.7 cheek riser. Perfect presentation every time.
I consider the value for money to be excellent and I love my Holosun ARO. Well worth considering if you're looking for an AR15 optic.
