Works well with Magpul's pistol grips

Bought this to replace the more standard sling plate that exists on an XM15 I have as that gun came with a handguard which also also was full of QD points. When I was getting ready to install it, I noticed a bit of a gap just above the backstrap of the Magpul grip that was on that gun and then took another look at this QD plate. This QD plate will cover that gap above the pistol grip, slightly improving the aesthetics of the gun in addition to providing a well placed QD point.

Review title says it all. This is a charging handle with the regular form factor. If I had to point out anything noteworthy about it, I'd say that the latch on it locks a little more securely than the one that came with the XM15 I have, probably because it hasn't had a chance to wear down yet.

Probably the best AK trigger out there for the money

After being spoiled by the FIME FCG I installed in my Vepr 12, I decided to swap out the included RAK-1 trigger group (which isn't a bad trigger by any stretch) that was included with my VSKA TRP. Seeing as there was an enhanced version for AKs in addition to the normal one that I bought the shotgun version of, I decided to give this one a try. I'm glad I did. The Vepr 12 trigger I bought had a shorter pull, lighter pull weight, easily distinguished wall, zero over-travel, and a hammer that makes full contact with the bolt face. This trigger is everything that trigger is except that the pull weight has been reduced making it ideal for even faster shooting.

Better than the Russian trigger

To me this is a very good feeling two stage trigger with a travel that's shorter than the typical Russian FCG, a lighter pull, an easily distinguished "wall", and zero over-travel after it breaks. I initially bought this trigger for 922r compliance to install on a Vepr 12 and it honestly made the original Russian one look terrible in comparison. Because of the previously named features, I found myself hitting targets faster and more accurately. On a little bit more technical side, if you were to pull the dust cover off a Vepr 12 and look at how the hammer sits after it's been engaged, you will notice that the entire face of it meets the firing pin, removing any chance for it to cause a light strike.
This actually had a lot of thought put into it

Pro Mag Archangel Opfor AK Series Forend Set
I was looking for a polymer AK handguard that actually LOOKS LIKE AN AK HANDGUARD and ran across this which at a glance is mostly stylized after a lot of the wooden handguards that are common of the platform. Upon closer inspection and handling, you can see what makes this thing so awesome. While it looks like they used the silhouette of your typical Russian wood handguard to nail down most of the aesthetics, Pro Mag decided to add a few features to improve it for more modern shooting styles. The upper handguard has been given slots for better thumb placement (ideal for C gripping) while the lower handguard was flared out and given little notches. The added heatshield also does an alright job of keeping your hand from burning up compared to a lot of the trash that's included with cheaper AKs these days.

Pro Mag Archangel OPFOR AK-Series Grip
While I wouldn't touch their magazines with a ten foot pole, it appears as if Pro Mag does in fact make some good AK furniture. This pistol grip in particular is an improvement over what you'd normally touch on an AK and does a good job of contouring to your firing hand and putting your index in line with the trigger. My only complaint is that maybe it's not quite as grippy as I'd like, but then again neither are most other pistol grips for AKs.
A very well thought out stock

Purchased this stock for an AK with a folding buffer tube configuration and was not disappointed. While it mostly looks like a normal stock, it has a few pretty big features that set it apart. The first and biggest selling point being it's additional cam lock mechanism that when engaged, will give you the stability of a fixed stock provided the screw is tightened correctly. Another pretty big feature for me is the way it shoulders vs that of your standard Magpul MOE, I feel like the dip in this one does a better job of placing my cheek to quickly and correctly get my eye into the sight-line. Add those together and toss in a well placed QD sling attachment point and you have an amazing product for an excellent price.

$4 roll of grip tape gets rid of my only complaint

I attached this to a DoubleStar receiver block along with a triangle stock on an AK. I also later gave it a spin with a pig nose adapter I bought that I slapped an AR buffer tube and stock to. Both applications worked pretty well. One other really cool aspect with these ACE hinges is that it looks like they will clear any optics you may be running on your gun when you use their triangle stock, however I've yet to be able to test this as I currently don't own any. My only complaint with this is that there is a little bit of play to it when it's open, however that can easily be removed by applying some rubber or industrial grip tape inside the mechanism.
I prefer this to Circle 10's stocks

DoubleStar Triangle Skeleton Stock
Purchased this to attach to an ACE receiver block and folding mechanism and was not disappointed. The finish on it is much nicer than the Circle 10 stock that came with my AK and the stock also has lightening cuts throughout the inside to keep the weight down. Unlock the two-bolt style Circle 10 stocks, this one also has QD sling points which are nice to have.
Cheaply cast wrench

The wrench this kit comes with is cast from a really cheap metal and I ended up sending a piece of it flying across the room while trying to remove a castle nut. Adding to that everything about this kit has a bit of wobble to it with the magwell vice block often times falling due to not locking up.
