Solid Rangefinder for the price

I purchased this to measure my targets on my shooting range. Product has worked like a charm. Have only used it out to 225 yards but no issues whatsoever. The scan feature is by far the most useful (hold down button to scan). Would recommend based on my use.

If buying for Subs, you will struggle

I purchased this barrel strictly for a 300 sub build. I know the optimal length is shorter, but I wanted to build a 16 inch sub build. Even with an adjustable gas block, I have yet to cycle rounds. It will run supers pretty well if you dial in the gas, but no luck so far with subs. Have tried a number of Hornady subs, the Stealth rounds and the Winchesters. Good luck out there.

Cheek Rise too high for AR setup

I purchased this butt to go on an AR build I was building that has a Sig Sauer MSR. I wanted to account for the additional height added by the scope mount that came with the scope. On its lowest setting, the adjustable cheek piece was still too high to get a clear sight picture out of the scope (this is sitting on an Aero upper and Alok handguard btw). I removed the cheek rise to use just the bottom piece (which is just the standard FAB defense Core butt) and now my cheek weld is way too low (more like a jaw/teeth weld) so I end up with a floating head vs a weld. Sorry, but I can not recommend this item if you have a Sig Tango MSR or a scope mount of similar height.
