Cost Effective and Consistent Rounds for Elk Hunting

After reading through what seemed like years worth of arguments, opinions, and swear-by articles and blogs online regarding the best .270 round for elk hunting - I was left more confused than before. However, one round was consistently discussed - the HSM Trophy Gold in 150 Grain. Now I'll be 100% honest, I have not had the opportunity to send one of these Berger Bullets down range at an actual Elk yet, but what I can tell you is the amazing out-of-the-box consistency these rounds offer to help tune your fire-stick at the range. Getting dialed in before the hunt is more than half the battle, and it starts with a reliable and consistent round you can trust.
