Excelent Budget Light
Written on May 02, 2022
This light is feature packed for the price point and the light works fine when shooting. (Got it mounted on a 16” carbine gas PSA upper) only 140 rounds so take that as you want. It is a bit large and the pressure pad is okay at best. The 1 lumen feature is great in low light, and the 1800 lumens are good to roughly 250-ish yards. Overall you could do worse at the same cost.
(I’d recommend mounting the light rotated so you can charge it without removing it from the rifle. The rubber tab may be difficult to pull based on angle aswell.)
The mount included gets the job done, you should probably upgrade it for something slimmer.
The holster is alright, I messed with it twice before mounting the flashlight and I haven’t moved it since.

to everyone complaining about light strikes in the cold

AR-15’s hate the cold, these springs don’t suck in the cold. All AR-15s/10s that use a DI system do. If you want to use these in the cold run a graphite/NON oil based lubricant designed for children environments. Other than that these work great I’m ordering more soon and these absolutely rock in my DMR setup regardless of temperature. I’ve used these in 105F to 32F no problem. (Adjust ammo and lube based on environment ;)
