Perfect 45 degree adapter

Needed adequate clearance for a back up red dot sight when using a FLIR PTS233 on my rail equipped STG-77. A number of other major manufacture's 45 degree side mounts did not allow enough space between the rail on the STG-77 and red dot optic to clear the thermal scope that sits one slot behind. Finish on the mount is stellar. Warne's top drawer quality and Optics Planet amazing shipping and service makes for a happy day patrolling at the compound.

Between the free shipping and already rock bottom pricing, one cannot go wrong buying the XTM panels from Optics Planet. I typically buy a number of each colors, break them up into component halves and randomly populate a rail with whatever halves I grab. Much better camo than straight colors. Rail panels are indestructible and have a good feel about them.

Bought one. Then bought another and another and yet, another. Have purchased two rifle length forearms, one spectre length, and one pistol length. Very rigid. I used a PRI barrel wrench (PRI #: 05-0082) and a 1/2 breaker bar to tighten per instructions. Used low profile gas blocks. The rail and upper then go into a jig to ensure alignment then I insert the anti rotations screws. Tighten the jam nut with a flat blade screwdriver and a light tap with a ball peen hammer. Fool proof. Exacting. Finish it out with the YHM end cap and some MAGPUL treatments. Buy it and be happy.
