I bought this scope some time ago and just got around to mounting it on a CZ 512 in .22LR. I cannot be more pleased. It is super bright and clear with no abberations which is usually unheard of in this price range. The turrets are nice and super positive to operate and it includes the BDC turrets in .22 LR and .17 HMR like the others in this line. I can totally recommend this to anyone looking for a good low priced rimfire optic. It is a considerable step up from Simmons 22 Mag line. Buy one or 10 you will not regret it.

This is the 3rd scope in the Simmons ProTarget rimfire line I have purchased and this one rounds out the collection. I now own all 3 in their line. I will start with the negatives; this scope does not have the finest optical quality and the objective focus ring and magnification rings are very stiff and not the easiest to manipulate. The reticle is a bit on the thick side but completely usable. However, for the price the optical clarity, the super positive click adjustable turrets and the BDC (.22lr & .17HMR) are great. I am a believer in this line and wish that in the future they include it with a .22 WMR turret...anyone listening Simmons? Are there better options on the market?....sure but they cost twice as much or more and when you own as many rimfire rifles as I do these are a great budget choice. I have been shooting and handloading for 30 years please believe me when I say these scopes are a fantastic value.

I recently bought this and mounted on my new Ruger American Rimfire rifle in .22lr. It holds zero and continues to hold zero while cycling through its full magnification range. The BDC is nice although I doubt I'll find much of a use for it because all of my rimfire shooting is done at 50 yards or less. The optics were clear enough and it has really nice positive click adjustments on the turrets. I would definitely buy another...well I did actually. I just ordered one in the fixed 4 power version. Considering its cost/value I would definitely recommend this as a great low cost optic that is a step up from their "22mag" line.
