2.2” eye relief is a problem

Vortex VMX-3T Magnifier with Flip Mount
This reasonably priced magnifier has a very short eye relief. I wouldn’t mind it since I’m running it on a low recoil rifle but even when placing the magnifier all the way rearward as far as possible, I still have to stretch my neck just to see through it. If your a standard sized man with standard length of pull you will not be able to see through this magnifier by normal means on an AR platform. Which for some could make it completely useless. I’m ok for now stretching my neck to see on long shots as I will usually be taking my time getting an accurate shot anyway so making some modifications to shoot properly is going to occur anyway. Other than that massive issue, the construction feels rugged and the flipping mechanism feels tight and of quality.

Review for
Riton Optics X3 Tactix PRD Red Dot Sight
Pretty good red dot for the price but it does not have an auto on feature and the dot turns off after a couple hours. Not the best for CCW since you probably won’t have time to turn it on during a self defense event.
