I read mixed reviews on this product but decided to order it anyway. I'm glad I did. First, it looks great. It allowed me on my 10.5 to extend the blast far enough out that I was not cooking my weapons light. Secondly, it reduced the blast I saw through my red dot with the traditional bird cage. It is not a recoil reducing comp. None of this design are. It simply projects the blast forward away from the shooter which is helpful with shorter builds.

Won't hold zero

Swampfox Liberty II 1x24mm Reflex Sight
This is the 2nd Swamp Fox red dot I've owned. Both have been garbage. This one will not hold zero on a 9mm pistol. After less than 10 rounds, you can visibly see the red dot start to walk to the right of the iron sights and shots start to move. I rezeroed 3 times only to see it repeat the issue. The clicks are terrible and each click makes large adjustments. I sent an email to their support to see what their response would be. A couple years ago, I had a Swamp Fox red dot that had to go back as it would not adjust. They sent me a replacement but it later had the same problem. I ended up throwing it away. No more Swamp Fox for me.
