Radian makes my preferred selector for ARs. I’ve installed a bunch on several lowers. I purchased this selector for work. Easy install, however, there was some sort of burr in the right drum that would not allow the spring and plunger to fully seat. Because of this, sliding on the right side lever was impossible. I used a 9/64 drill bit to ream out the hole. After doing this the spring and plunger seated properly, and completing the installation was as easy as ever. I reached out to Radian about this, and never heard back from them.

Bought this a couple months ago, after seeing nothing but glowing reviews. I also wanted an enclosed emitter rds. The circle dot reticle is great, especially for those who have never used a pistol mounted optic before. Long story short, I put less than 100 rounds on this optic. The dot in the reticle disappeared, leaving only the circle visible. When I switched to “dot only” reticle, I was left with a blank window. I turned the brightness all the way up, and I was able to faintly see the dot. Using a weapon light totally washed the dot out, and made it not visible. With the brightness all the way up, I switched back to the “circle dot” reticle. What I got was an extremely bright circle that totally washed out the dot. After playing with the sight and looking through it for a few days, I noticed that the brightness of the dot would fluctuate between normal brightness levels and super dim levels, with it it mostly being super dim. I’m sending it back to holosun for service.

I got about two weeks normal operation out of it before this occurred. Never dropped the optic, or damaged it in any way. If you are looking for a duty optic, look elsewhere.
