I was issued an ACOG with my colt m4 carbine in the Army....I had the same optic on my rifle for several years and humped it across north iraq and Mosul in AO ROGUE.....my ACOG NEVER let me down and I was living off my MRAP and this optic gave me the confidence and accuracy I needed to win....yes it's expensive because it's built like a frickin tank!! if society goes sideways or you want to be able to put steel on target everytime you squeeze the bang button, then get yourself an ACOG....don't ask your wife either just do it she wants a man who does what needs to be done anyways ;-)
