First off, this is a really nice brace. I expected as much after ordering one of these for the standard MP5 (used on a ZF-5). I ordered this for a ZF-56 as it is designed to take MP5K style stocks/braces. It does fit, but was EXTREMELY tight. So much so that it was difficult to remove. A little work with the Dremel on the inside pieces of the brace and it fits perfectly. Still tight and unmoving as it should be, but can be easily removed for cleaning and such. Only issue is that, since the ZF-56 does not have MP5 style iron sights, any optic mounting is a bit high. Not that big a deal since I slapped a red dot on it. Just something to note.

Bought this for my ZF5. Build quality is fantastic and locks into open position solid and stays folded when you want. Fit super snug and has zero rattle or movement when firing. The only issue I had with it was that the bolt carrier group would go back when cycling, it would almost always stick at the back. First time, I took it all apart, found nothing looking off, and reassembled it. Everything seemed fine...until the next shot. Same thing. I happened to strike the rear of the brace on the bench and it went back into battery. I did this a couple more times and it was, sure enough, just sticking to the rear. Took it home and tore into it. It appears the "buffer pad" in the brace is considerably thinner and "squishier" (for lack of a better term) than the one from the ZF5 pistol end cap. I took the buffer pads off and swapped them (this required a slightly longer bolt...easily found at the local hardware store), but worked perfectly. Returned to the range a few days later it ran with zero failures (through about 500 rounds). Really love it now and plan to get one for my ZF56 when it gets here.

I picked this up to go on my ZF5 as a place to mount the front sling point. Not a lot of real estate there after adding the angled grip and thumb rest, so wanted to try something that allowed the sling to go backwards from the grip area. Works great and keep the sling point lower and flatter to the weapon so it does not interfere with the charging handle or placement of the grip hand. Almost unnoticeable when the sling is not attached.

I was looking for a replacement grip for my Carmel. The grip that came on it, while it has great reviews, was just not for me. I have rather small hands and was looking at a few grips when this one caught my eye. It came in fast and I went to install it. Now, the Carmel is said to use "AR style grips". But not quite all grips, it seems. The back, "dove tail" section that I have always liked on grips is a bit too high for the Carmel. As I really liked the feel of the grip, I just modified the back to fit. A little sanding and dremel work and it fit perfectly and gave me a very comfortable grip. Should fit on any AR base just fine and I won't ding it for needing some mods to fit my weapon. Just though folks may want to know this if they wanted one for a Carmel.

Wanted to do something about the sound and flash from the birdcage that came on the X95 and was looking at linear comps. I picked one of the Kaw Vally ones up for my Vector as a place keeper until I get a can for it and liked it. Found this one that had both a linear comp and a little bit to help with muzzle rise and picked it up. It was pretty easy to install and get timed using the original lock nut the X95 comes with (no need for any timing washers...it just tightens up like the original). Hit the range and was happy that it not only sent more noise and flash down range, but even helped noticeably with muzzle rise. Add the fact that it just looks cool and I have no cons at all on this one.

Was looking for a linear comp for my Tavor X95. The bullpup design is fantastic, but makes it a bit loud for the shooter and muzzle rise, while not bad at all on a 5.56, was noticeable with no weight on the front end. This piece helps greatly with both. More of the sound goes forward while the slight porting helps with muzzle rise without blinding the shooter or those on the next lane. Easy to install and index. On the X95, you just use the factory lock nut and a pair of 19mm wrenches to tighten it in place. Highly recommend this for any bull pup or short barrel you don't plan to add a can to.
