I'm not sure if the scope came canted in the mount or if the reticle was put in wrong, or maybe the mount screw is crooked, but the reticle is canted. I thought I had mounted the scope wrong (really hard to imagine) but when I pulled it out of the carry handle and placed it on a table the reticle was still canted with no way of rotating the scope body, or other way of correcting this. Very disappointing but I guess that's why this is so cheap compared to the Brownells reproduction.
This throw lever has notches made into it that allow you to remove material to allow for a custom, snug fit. Problem here is that they're prone to bending when you turn it with any force - like when you want to change magnification quickly. Was annoying the first couple times it happened since I had to readjust it, but the bends became permanent and now it no longer works as intended, with the lever sliding around and sometimes sliding off. Just giving anyone buying this a heads up: be a little delicate with it. Otherwise, this throw lever worked fine until it failed. If I buy this again, I'd consider using it on my bolt-gun for more casual shooting.
