Review for
SB Tactical SBT Evo Pistol Stabilizing Brace
The price is steep, but there's a reason for that. This is the finest brace you can buy. This dovetails into the receiver very tightly so there is no wobble. The materials and fit and finish are top notch.

Excellent Well Made Handguard
Written on Sep 27, 2020
This is a very well made aluminum handguard. It is slender and grippy which makes handling my heavy PTarb91 a lot easier. The M-Lok holes bring my old PTR into 2020 allowing me to attach whatever I want.

Trijicon 1x42 Reflex Sight
In addition to my comments from my previous review, which I fully stand by, I would like to add this this sight has the worst glass I have ever looked through. It is a virtue for a red dot to have very clear glass. Cheap red dots tint the glass the same color as the LED to reflect that wavelength. That's exactly what Trijicon has done here. The glass has a very heavy green tint. Also factor in the massively reflective front surface and you have a not so stealthy optic you will struggle to look through, particularly in low light conditions.

Feels Like a $100 Knock Off
Written on Sep 14, 2020
There is nothing about this red dot that justifies the $500 price tag. The window housing is plastic. The rail mount and levers are flimsy. The user interface to toggle through the 16 brightness levels is annoying.
Most importantly, the reticle displayed appears to be multiple overlapping bullseyes instead of one clear bullseye. On higher settings there is a halo effect which makes things worse. This is far from a precision sight they claim it to be. I had my buddy take a look as well to make sure it's not my eyes that are bad. He is seeing the exact same overlapping images and halo.

Solid Rail

Review for
FAB Defense G3-SM Scope Mount System
Locks up solid and fits my PTR well. I have a heavy scope mounted to this rail and it doesn't move. Does not work with port buffer. Don't forget loctite. Price is high, but far less than the B&T option.

Truly the Worst Red Dot You Can Buy
Written on Sep 05, 2020
Review for
Trijicon 1x42 Reflex Sight
This has got to be the worst thing I have ever purchased. The tritium is worthless. Even with dark adjusted eyes, the "dot" is impossible to pick up. I say "dot" because it's more like a collection of fuzzy balls. There is no single clear dot reticle, and it's nowhere near 6.5 MOA. In bright light the visibility of the "dot" is between marginal and invisible based on lighting on you and on the target. Should you pick up a light source such as a light bulb in your view, you will get a whole collection of light bulbs in your view as the optic refracts and multiplies the image. Needless to say the "dot" is long gone at this point. Also I would like to point out there is no anti-reflective coating on the lens. From your target's point of view you are shining a green mirror at them. Truly a worthless piece of garbage.
