Buy this? Maybe. Best of several bad options.

I have to say this was shockingly low quality and poorly thought out for the price... For the price I expected the plastic to be somewhere between the quality of a PMAG body and a Glock frame - it is absolutely much lower than that, cheap soft polymer. Long term, that is the biggest bummer. We live in a world where you can buy a whole pistol or rifle for the cost of this very simple unit, and the materials are much nicer. The included buffer tube is milspec, which should not be surprising in 2026, except that the whole system is designed for a commercial tube for some reason! The instructions literally state that using a milspec tube will result in bolts not seating properly and the fitment being loose. Why not include a perfectly compatible commercial tube (most people do not have one) or adjust the design for a milspec tube and NOT include a tube at all, to drop the price down? Perplexing! Installation and function are easy to achieve, but mysteriously leave little gaps not seen in pictures on a 100% milspec lower. More confusing was the choice to thread the plastic for bolts in some areas but to press in brass bushings in others... All of these probably ought to have been places where a recessed nut was on the opposite side, but the low grade plastic would likely not support that system. The result is lots of warnings about stripping screws. Lastly, the two nuts which adjust and hold the rod which pulls the trigger are not proper jam nuts but are intended to be used as suc

Surprising quality for the price

Surprisingly good quality for the price, excellent finish. I paired it with their own gas block however which needed a tiny polish, and scratched the finish slightly. Minus one star due to a smaller gas port than it deserved.
