Accurate and flawlessly functions

I held off writing this review until I send sufficient rounds downrange to ensure that the barrel was accurate and functioned flawlessly. I'm happy to report that after dropping in the barrel it was dead on (I didn't need to sight it in) and zero failures (to feed) after ~150 rounds. I'm very satisfied with this barrel's performance.

It's becoming harder to rapidly acquire and align sights as my eyes age. I had hoped to sell my P 226 40 caliber and purchase a new P 226 9 mm Romeo 1 but the 40 cal resale market has dried up. I therefore opted to purchase the 9 mm Romeo conversion kit from OP and I'm very happy with my decision. I dropped in the conversion kit and, without having to sight in the red dot, was immediately shooting tight groups. Dot size is about the right size and is very crisp. I love the motion activation feature, whenever the sight is moved it turns on and, to conserve battery life, turns off once movement has stopped. The tall, suppressor ready, iron night sights were also dead on straight out of the box. Another great deal from Optics Planet.
