Discontinued model but solid choice

Written on Oct 05, 2017

Stag Arms discontinued this style of compensator but they're a great choice. The parkerisating perfectly matches standard AR barrels so aesthetics are excellent. It comes in two models, .223 and 6.8spc. I purchased the .223 model. I purchased it for a build so I haven't used it yet but the three brake design is proven.

Great ergonomics and skips a step when assembling a lower receiver

Written on Aug 24, 2017

Great ergonomics and grip angle. Allows for easier hold on front heavy AR when using left hand to manipulate controls for drills. I was deciding between this and the Daniel Defense grip. Very glad I chose this. If you have damaged the trigger guard wings of a lower receiver or just don't want to deal with a pin when installing a trigger guard, this grip covers the area and installs with two screws (included).

There are other versions. One has a QD mount on the rear of the grip and another removes the integral trigger guard if you want to install this grip on a billet lower. Highly recommend this grip. Some people won't like the material it's made of. It feels different than magpul or other polymer furniture, but I like it.
