New ARs can be difficult when removing the handguards and mine was no different. I was skeptical about the removal tool but ordered it anyway since I would be removing the handguard on several of my ARs. The tool performed as advertised and was not difficult to use. Anyone experiencing difficulty removing handguards should definitely purchase one.
