Tritium? more like a dead glow stick you found under your bed

Troy Tritium Folding Front Sight - M4
I left another review for the DOA rear sight i bought as well. I should've listened to other reviews on here about these Troy Tritium iron sights but sometimes you sum others complaining up to their own experience. How could I go wrong with Troy I say? I just got a rear DOA sight, and a front M4 Tritium sight, and checked the tritium on both in a very controlled pitch black room. after 30 minutes of eyeball adjustment I began the test. I have 20/20 vision. It was a non stop struggle to even see anything. I knew in 1 second I wanted to return these. You can BARELY see any type of glow in total darkness. These would be fair price at $45/$50. they grab you with the DOA diopter apeture. Past that you're way overpaying. Sending them back. I also emailed Troy ahead of time to ask directly if they honor their own warranty on dead Tritium and they never emailed back. I told them if they can't answer I'm sending them back. no reply came. Turns out everyone was right but it was worse than they said. I am a fan of Troy I have other Troy products that are great. but these are absolutely ridiculous. Totally overpriced. Tritium rating 1 to 10 (10 being bright) Troy's can BARELY rank 1. it's actually HARD to see any hint of a glow. I cannot emphasize that enough.I wanted to keep these. but I wanted tritium more than a good diopter and the high price does not justify anything here. Basic $50 green Truglo tritium sights meanwhile are a pleasant 8/9 for glow, not too bright not too dim. These

This stuff is a lil pricey but you get what you pay for. A high BC round that flies flat at long range. A great round for self defense as well. This ammo is precious. get you some and stick with it. you see it's always sold out. Everytime I buy it I only get 100 rds and then it's out of stock.

Wheeler Professional Laser Bore Sighter
Pretty expensive, like most wheeler stuff is, but you get what you pay for. A solid tool made well to withstand torture and time. This thing makes laser bore sights look like toys. Those things are only as good as the bore stem not being bent (which they all are) and the laser diode being calibrated (which none are). It is a pain to get those things straightened out and calibrated using a rotating center or mill chuck by spinning it in the jaws. This wheeler laser is one solid muzzle stick on worry free sight tool. Of course, it's dependent upon your muzzle crown not being damaged or worn significantly. Nice tool. Must have green. The red version is horrible for day.

high quality, very easy to use

this level is very versatile. you level whole rifle using the smaller level on pic' rail, then you attach the bigger level to the barrel and level that. then you take the smaller level again and set this on your turret cap (or remove your cap) and level the scope. simple. dummy proof.
i use a real avid vise master gun vise to level the rifle. you can use anything that wont mar up your gun but use a vise. you need stability and consistency as you transition closer to the scope leveling. slight movements can mess up your scope leveling when you're tightening scope mounts or rings. this leveling kit is nice. kinda pricey but its better than other leveling kits at the time i purchased it.
