Guntec USA QD Handstop/Finger Rest
This little thing rocks! I don’t like the big forend grips because I prefer to keep my hand wrapped around the forend itself. I do find it helpful to have a little bit of something to pull back on and keep the butt in my shoulder. This thing is the perfec tsize. I got one at a local shop and didn’t even know it was QD until a couple of weeks after I installed it. The “post” spins and I was trying to figure out why when I pushed the button on the bottom and it popped right off! It is very easy to transition from off hand to bipod by removing the grip. This thing is great!
Great reticle

The reticle is the best feature of the scope. It is a range estimating reticle with thinnish cross hairs that don't cover the target. When you find your range, you don't have to move your point of aim, which is smart. My biggest problem is the "mushiness" of the adjustments. Clicks are nearly non existent. It took alot of ammo to get the windage right because of this. I compared this scope to a Nikon Black 1000 1-4x24. The Nikon has clearer glass and more positive adjustments, but the Nikon reticle is a BDC and the little circles are less precise for my eye. I like the Steiner, but I am a little disappointed in the glass and the mechanics, especially from a German company.
