Wheeler Professional Laser Bore Sighter

Written on Oct 03, 2024

The Wheeler Professional Laser Bore Sighter makes 'bore sighting' so much easier than shoving some laser cartridge into the gun's barrel. I'm not a professional gunsmith but I used my newly acquired Wheeler Professional Laser Bore Sighter to set up a new Vortex scope on my Ruger American. It was fast and easy; the magnet secures firmly to the end of barrel. The green laser is very bright and easy to see in daylight conditions. The results were very good when I did the initial scope sighting at 50 yards at my range. No wasted ammo or time.

Great quality and functionality. Material, straps, zippers are top notch. Provides great protection and transportation of your rifles & pistols.

ProMag Archangel

Nice quality but it required a lot of Dremel trimming to get my Ruger 10/22 to fit properly. If I would have known this I most likely would have bought the Mag Pul product.

RomeoZero Button

Written on Mar 01, 2024

I downgraded this product due to the on/off/brilliance button. It's almost impossible to push the little micro switch button with the average finger. I had to use the tip of a pen or little screwdriver blade to get the switch to change states. SigSauer suggested to simply leave the sight on and allow the motion sensor to turn it off and on. I suspect that will deplete the battery quicker. I think the optics are fine for a low cost red dot. I would opt for a red dot that has a readily accessible operational button and a battery that can be replaced without have to remove the sight from the gun.
