I was spoiled by the triggers on my AR-15s and I wanted my first exploration of the AK platform to provide similar joy. The Zavasta ZPAP M90 got rave reviews in almost every metric -- the trigger getting a least a decent rating by most reiewers -- but when I tried the trigger during pre-purchase handling at my local gun shop I knew a trigger upgrade was desirable. Most YouTub vids mentioned the ALG Defense drop-in as the way-to-go, so I confess my choice of the ALG 05-326 was driven by listening to more experienced shooterswith AK creds. And given the variations in AKs I learned about in YT vids, I had my local gun shop do the install to deal with fitment particulars (and they did need to do some tweaking--this isn't a big con but I am glad I didn't try to install myself.) After intall completed, I found the trigger pull felt lighter than OEM (I regret I did not do a trigger pull mesurement on OEM before upgrade) and reset was better too. I could notice the change. On my next tactical rifle training lesson, as I do with my ARs, I offered the M90 to my instructor to demo new trigger and he liked and I proceeded to shoot at over 300 rounds (had to do at least 100 to break it in). While the responsiveness and feel wasn't in the quite the same league as high-end Geissele (or Timney), one keeps in mind this trigger is half the cost. I wanted to upgrade the trigger of my LWRCI IC-DI 300 Blackout, even though the OEM enhanced milspec trigger felt quite satisfactory and measured 4.75 pound pull. I wanted a lighter pull (between 3-4lbs) and a better reset even though I am not an expert marksman but I was sure the improved trigger would improve my accuracy. This was my first Geissele trigger, and I debated single vs. double stage. I went single mode since I had a really good experience with a Timney skeletonized yellow 4lb single stage upgrade for my Black Rain Spe-15 AR. I selected the flat bow style mostly for cosmetic reasons. My local gun store performed the install, and since they charge very reasonable price for the service I opted for the easy path. On my next tactical rifle training lesson, I handed the DI 300BLK to my instructor to demo new trigger and he ooh-ahhed; he was no stranger to Geissele but I did desire confirmation that install done properly. Proceeded to shoot at least 200 rounds with the 300BLK that session earning with good groups at 50-100 yards (between a good red dot, a quality platform, and excellent trigger it was hard to screw up). It was pleasure to pull that trigger! I plan to upgrade my other LWRCI with Geissele, and expect I will consider the two-stage options. I definitely recommend this trigger - and price was reasonable. From my POV, you can't can't grow wrong with Geissele (or Timney) depending on which product is on sale.

I love this EOTech EXPS2 Green Reticle – even though it is seriously pricey! It is worth it IMO. But I knew it would be before I purchased it. My tactical defense instructor let me test his custom AR-15 build which was equipped with the EOTech 512 and I was amazed how much easier it was get a sight picture and how the reticle design made aiming less tedious than with red dots I had installed on my LWRC DI 556 or my Black Rain Ordnance AR.
This optic was a huge upgrade from a Sig Romeo5 (LWRC) and Sig Romeo MSR (BRO) – granted the EOTech represents and equally significant jump in cost. As noted in other review, when you get older and your eyes aren’t what they were when you were 30, the larger holographic reticle helps you focus more precisely and quickly on the target than classic red dots. And I came to appreciate that the green reticle is noticeably easier to see (I had purchased a Trijicon LPVO for my other LWRC which also had a green reticle, so I was comfortable with the choice). Shooting with the EXPS2 OPMOD is a joy compared to my other red dots – and they were pretty good. (I did retain my Juliet 3 magnifiers on both ARs after selling my Romeos to friends who had no red dots. The Sig Juliet-3s were very compatible with the EOTech EXPS2; co-witnessed fine and were more than adequate for my purposes.)

During my first lesson with my tactical defense instructor, he showed me how to avoid wrestling with filling magazines by hand as the number of cartridges reached capacity. He used this 'speed loader' which I was unaware of because I was just getting back into firearms and shooting after a 10 year break -- and before then was not a real knowledgeable (or much concerned) about learning how to operate and maintain my handguns (times have changed). I watched him blitz through reloading. He recommended I get one, and I am glad I have. I have adequate strength as a female, but there are times when dealing my Sig P229 .40/.357 or FN FNX-45 Tactical when it gets really tough as you near the top of the stack to cram those last few rounds in without them popping out or getting your fingers jammed up. What a difference a widget like this makes! I got purple to keep things from getting boring, but no matter the color, the loader is durable and easy to use once you get the hang of it. Recommend it without reservation (wish it was a bit cheaper but value is OK as priced).

Needed to simplify the task of cleaning the chamber area and, after extensive research of various tools, I selected the Dewey tool. The construction is solid and being made in USA was a definite plus. Rod was a good length at around 10" and made it convenient to insert. The handle was comfortable and offered a decent grip to allow for turning the chamber brush under pressure to get at that carbon buildup. The brush threads in to the rod, which eliminated worries of slippage. When it's threaded fully on, the brush itself is locked to the rod--no swiveling. I have used it for probably 10 cleaning sessions since purchase and it has been trouble free.

For extra thorough cleaning, before I use a mop I will twist on Otis Technology Star Chamber Cleaning Pads onto the rod threads to lift out and absorb the loose debris loosened by the chamber brush. Maybe not the most solid connection but wiggling the pads around in the grooves gets it done.

Very pleased with my purchase and glad I added it to my collection of AR-15 oriented cleaning and maintenance tools.

Before I purchased the extended length Breakthrough swabs, I used standard Q tips and tolerated the inability to get into grooves due to blunt tips or reach certain places because the stick was too short. Or the stick would bend if more than light pressure applied. These pointed tip swabs are great for reaching into cramped areas or being able to push around or through various nooks and crannies in bolt action group components or light cleaning in the lower's trigger area. The wooden stick made for more reliable placement. Sometimes the tip and stick would separate, or the tip would come off during insertion into tight opening but totally understandable considering the conditions. The swab maintained its shape and didn't fluff or leave residue like q-tips will. The fact you get 200 just makes this a fine value. I ordered multiple packages. You go through a lot of these when cleaning dirty ARs. Very pleased with this product!

I needed an adjustable torque wrench to allow me to install a scope and mount it -- this product provided the basics I needed in one convenient package. The design made it easy for me set the right amount of torque with sufficient precision. I found it easy to use and appreciated hearing the audible click as the limit was reached. Instructions were clear. The 10 bits included cover most needs, but I did need to dig out some other torx or hex bits from my automotive tool inventory to finish some jobs. If it came with another 5 bits in common sizes that would have rated a 5 star grade.

I have purchased 3 ProTac Rail Mount 2 lights, 2 mounted on ARs and the other on a RIA VR80. For the ARs, I used the wired remote switch in conjunction with Cloud Defensive Light Control mount. For the RIA VR80 the tailcap switch was used given lack of mounting options for a remote switch. All have functioned properly and the light is quite bright. I like their compact size and relatively low weight. The price is right and they have all worked reliably to date.

Completely satisfied with clarity of vision as well as the comfort this shooting glass model provides. The price was most reasonable and. I appreciated having a choice of lens colors -- I selected yellow. The one area where S&W went cheap was the glass case, which consists of zippered flexi-plastic case not a hard case--on other hand the glasses and case are very lightweight.

I am not yet in a position to comment on durability since I have had them for only 3 months and used them in 6 sessions at range. That said, these glasses seem well constructed so I am expecting they well serve me for many years (and if I have to get a different case down the road that will not be a difficult or costly).

After purchase of new AR from name brand manufacturer, I visited tactical instructor for some training and he inspected my weapon including trigger pull characteristics. Everything about the new rifle was pronounced fine and dandy *but* trigger feel was judged "gritty" then he confirmed that it had 8+ pounds pull. My other two ARs had excellent triggers with 4 pound pull. He recommended this Timney (and gave me his custom build that had a 3.5 pound version installed to make his point clear). I was already aware that Timney was excellent trigger after scouring YouTube reviews. Ordered it from OP at 4 pounds as a good compromise given my needs -- and wanted to keep trigger pull same across all my ARs for consistency. After my instructor installed it (I think I could have as relative newbie) I was just so impressed with crispness of pull and reset and I could detect virtually no creep. Comparing my shooting before Timney at the range and after was night and day. The OEM mil-spec trigger made it tough to execute a smooth shot. Post-Timney operation was like silk, my aim improved noticeably, and my groups were smaller and more consistent. Money well spent, not too mention the skeletonized look was slick.
