I'm not LE. All of my shooting is range only. I have 2 of these mounted on 2 different AR platforms, a short barrel .223, and 16inch barrel 7.62x39. I have about 2K rounds on both mounts. These hold zero and work well. Pressure pad isn't great, but these are only $100. For my usage they work 100% of the time and I would trust them for home defense. If I was LE or in the field I would not depend on these for every day use. But for 90% of us out there, they get the job done.
