I bought this on Optics Planet 12-23... about 8 months age. My mistake, I lost the nut for the Picatinny rail clamp when transferring the stock between receivers. I spoke with Maxim customer service today and was told even though the nut was specialized, Maxim had no replacement nut available to send me, that this unit is being re-designed and is no longer for sale by Maxim. This should give you some idea how much you can rely on Maxim to support the products you purchase for a reasonable length of time. For what Maxim's products cost, this is unacceptable.
