As a lefty, I thought a gas reducing charging handle would be a great upgrade. What they don't tell you is that they reduce gas by directing it straight out the right side of the gun, which happens to be directly into my eyes and nose. This makes my shooting experience significantly

make an AMBIDEXTROUS charging handle then make it functionally unusable for anyone but righties?! I guess if you're a righty you'd probably like this though. I wish I could get my money back.

Does not include muzzle thread adapter.

Be aware you'll have to buy a a muzzle thread adapter separately. I deducted a star for that. I realize the assembly picture does not show a muzzle thread adapter but I bought the variant labeled "1/2-28" and this does not include any threads that pitch, so definitely mixed signals there. Also it doesn't list what size hole is in the end cap. It appears larger than 9mm, maybe .45?
Otherwise this is a well made piece. Threads are free of burrs and fit smoothly. I like the modular nature to get the perfect length on my build. Also note that the 1.125-28" threads are compatible with SiCo Alpha accessories. You could add an ASR adapter to this if you wanted, or possibly use a segment to extend the blast baffle of an Alpha pattern suppressor to accommodate a longer muzzle device.
