Ordered a factory demo unit, from what I can tell it's brand new and had never been opened. I fired it up and the reticle has vertical lines going through it and a ring around the perimeter. Optics planet, after many calls and waiting to have a returned call only to miss it over and over, is replacing it. Hopefully the new one is good to go, I really want to like this optic.
