I’m putting this optic on my 45-70 SBL. It will be used as a bear defense / camp protection / moose hunting rifle. This scope performs well in low light, it’s lighter weight than others in its category, it has a true 1x magnification that allows both eyes open shooting with a red dot and clean crosshairs. With a 1-5 magnification allowing me to reach out to 200 yards or better, these are all the features I was looking for. When I found out Leupold includes a ballistic calculator dial with the purchase I had to pull the trigger. It’s easy to order the dial just jump on Leupold website and provide the caliber and ballistics and they send you a custom elevation dial. Another reason to go Leupold is the scope caps, best in the business without a doubt. Expensive but worth it for me. The caps that fit on this scope can be purchased on optics planet as well.
