You can not go wrong with a company that offers the kind of warranty that Vortex offers.

On top of that, this is a fantastic optic for an unbeatable price. The original Defender-CCW was also great. The only problem that I had was that the front side of the lens filled with lint from clothing and other debris throughout the day when I carried. It was inconvenient because the field of vision was clouded unless you took a moment to clear the lens. It could be a big issue in a self-defense situation. I still love and use the original Defender, just not for carry.

The Defender-CCW Enclosed solves that issue with all of the benefits of the original and some extras. It allows me to quickly clear the lens with the swipe of a thumb if needed.

I love how the compensated barrel looks on the 43X. As an added bonus it does what you would expect reducing the recoil and allowing quicker acquisition on subsequent shots.

These are superior to over the ear for me in many ways. The top 4 are:
1-I am not sweating under the insulated ear muffs.
2-They are unobtrusive.
3-They double as Bluetooth headphones.
4-they fit well and come with several options for the actual pad that enters the ear canal to ensure hearing protection.

This is the best built mag I've ever found honestly they are fantastic. The formed mag lock is smooth and does not wear the factory mag release in my PSA Dagger. The formed fluted sides ensure the mag dos not swell when loaded to capacity, which is 18, by the way. With 1 chambered you can carry with 19 rounds. Because the mags don't swell they load and unload easily with no need to manually strip the mag. I have approximately 150 rounds through each of the 5 mags I purchased and have had no issues.

These are well worth the price.
