I got this for a 16" .308 and was thinking to just use it as a placeholder optic until I could afford something better like a Razor HD Gen 3, NX8, PLxC, or Vudu. I got this off Optics Planet's sister site DVOR for sub $500 with a cheap Vortex OPMOD FDE mount and I dunno I'm extremely impressed right now.

It also comes with a Vortex throw lever, optic flip caps, and sun shade.

Glass is extremely clear, I have a short 12.5" length of pull, so normally with most of my other LPVO's I have them mounted all the way to the back where they are just even with the charging handle. The eye relief on this one is so good that I have this one mounted so far forward that I'm able to deploy my rear iron backup sights without removing the mount, not to mention it also has 2 night vision settings. I have several SFP Strike Eagles in 1-8 but this updated FFP version is an absolutely incredible upgrade!

My only complaints at the at the moment is there is no parallax adjustment available and the flip caps are much cheaper than the older SFP versions. I believe it's set at 150 yards but I'm not seeing any distortion from up close to maxed out at 10X. I'm sure if you compared this side by side with one of those other optics you could see the difference, but at 1/3rd the price this is really amazing!

I'm really looking forward to sighting this in next weekend. Time will tell, but for the price, I'm not sure there is a better LPVO out there. Very very happy!!!

My only complaint is that it's made in China so I took off a star. Otherwise, was exactly what I was looking for. Very warm, fits exactly how I'd hoped. Concealed Carry pockets are good not great, but pretty sure I'll keep mine on my hip anyways. The mag pouches are exactly what I wanted and could probably be used for knives, pens, or flashlights as well. I'm really impressed especially at the price I snagged it at. Very pleased.

Purchased a stripped billet upper receiver and then had the worst time trying to find a handguard that fit or matched. Purchased two additional handguards before finally finding this one. This handguard fits PERFECT! Nicely done Breek Arms!
