I bought one of these recently. When I say “recently” I mean after Christmas 2017. I liked my first purchase. This was my second buy. It shipped with two plastic pins at the base of the grip whereas the first grip had metal pins. The plastic are much more difficult to remove and much more difficult to re-drive into place. Both plastic pins fit in the holes neither evenly nor squarely and it represents a disgusting sellout for a few cents of profit realized by not using a superior fastener. Maybe a materials engineer can post a note and tell us the difference in price between two 3/4 inch metal pins and two 3/4 inch plastic pins. This grip is now 100% plastic. I’ll not be buying another so I’m out searching again. Quite frankly I don’t care what my future grip costs; i know it will not be this one. I can’t tolerate this ever-present sellout for a few cents more corporate profit. Where is the corporate pride in a product well-produced? Not evident at CCA.

Started shooting Zeiss when I got serious about shooting. Not a sniper or 1200 yard shooter. Just love the light gathering ability and the brightness of this 56mm objective scope. Very nice glass and coatings; Zeiss carries the best bang for the buck in my opinion. Mounted on a LaRue mount, it can’t be beat. #8 reticle still shows up at dusk and helps with shots during those last few minutes of legal shooting.
