Tiny Reticle, Crappy Lens Cover

Written on Feb 08, 2024

I placed this order around Christmas '23. Received around late January '24. I purchased the Gemini 9mm version, green dot with Bullet Rise Compensation. I read through the manual, and started with dialing in the focus with the diopter ring. The first thing that you'll immediately notice, is the reticle is TINY. I made this purchase based on the reviews re: astigmatism. I have astigmatism in my dominant eye. For the life of me, I COULD NOT get a clear reticle picture of the chevron with the brightness on high. The chevron looked like an oblong blurry hoop. If I reduced brightness to like 3 or 4, it got better. So anything higher brightness was useless to me. Ultimately, I returned this. I got a Swampfox Raider 1x20 instead, and the reticle chevron is GARGANTUAN compared to the Primary Arms. And it is easier to focus the chevron, plus the lens covers are tethered to the battery cap. The Primary Arms comes with a detachable rubber bikini lens cover, non tethered. Good luck with that.
