I used this with a Faxon 24” heavy fluted match barrel in 6.5CM and it looks great. No tightening lug underneath, ability to line up perfectly regardless of barrel torque and really compliments the long barrel being 17” long forearm.

You can torque barrel nut to desired setting and then still align the handguard perfectly thanks to the slick two peice barrel nut. If you want a a really slim forend without a “lug” on the bottom where you have tightening nuts, get this one. Slick design.
Not milspec

This is a machined piece but I feel confident it is not forged. After installing a barrel at 50lbs of torque, The bolt carrier group seemed in a slight bind with this receiver. I suspect that its too soft a metal used and even though it had a nylon peice inserted to keep integrity, it tweeked under torque of barrel installation. I now only use forged receivers that are military spec. It looked cool but is nothing more than a paperweight.
