I really love this optic, and I'm really glad I took a chance on it. I've used magnified prisms before, and the eyebox has always been pretty brutal; I was worried that this would suffer from similar limitations, but it just doesn't. The eyebox is outstanding. While it's not a true 1:1 with a standard red dot in terms of eye relief, once you get it focused for your eyes, really, you'd be truly hard pressed to find that minute difference.
It's plenty bright, has "shake awake," can run just fine during the day without illumination just off the etched reticle, and it even comes with a glare hider (which is something that for other brands cost separate)
