Good Quality ammo at a great price

This brand of ammo has always been good. The quality is great. The ammo is very consistent. Never had a misfeed or misfire with this ammo. I would recommend this ammunition for use in any pistol. Suitable for use in at the range or as a carry weapon.

Chamber is not concentric

My alphawolf 9mm barrel looks good. The finish is good. However, it only will chamber certain 9 mm, And has trouble with many other 9mm. Well my other 9 mm guns have no trouble chambering. Most my ammo on hand has trouble chambering in this new alphawolf barrel. It seems like the barrel was defective from the factory.

This was a great price. But I would pay the higher cost to get a better brand. Well maybe not the brand, just a better progressive loader. It's very hard to get anything consistent out of this press. If you don't believe me, try it yourself. And let me know how that goes. I've seen other progressive presses, albeit more expensive, but they crank out rounds. I have yet to crank out one round with this press. Oh well, back to my single press. It's more reliable and faster.

Great mod to make a weapon "double-tap" (2round burst)

The mod to the trigger was easy, Did it in 2 minutes. After dry firing it a bit, It felt really good. Took it to the range, first trigger pull, it was a double tap, Second shot was double tap, Third shot was not a double tap, fourth shot was a double tap, but with a jammed casing. I put the gun away after that, because it jammed. The bottom line: made it technically illegal and unusable at the range. Next day, took out the connector and replaced it with the OEM connector.

I waited until after the trip to the range to write this review. The barrel, along with its thread protector, is of high-quality. I was impressed with the polished finish on the barrel inside and out. The barrel is really accurate. I shot a few lead bullets through the barrel, and then a few jacketed bullets after that. There were no visible signs of leading. Round-nosed and jacketed hollow points fed fine. One of my reloads did not eject, out of 20 rounds. This could've been due to the compensator or the OEM spring designed for a 40 SW. (or it could be the cartridge was on the light side.)

I had previously wasted time and money buying and testing another mfg's mag adapter which did not work. A major fail. This mag well adapter approach and design is flawless. Installation took only a minute. Dropped in my foreign made g-17 9mm mag, headed to the range, and pulled trigger. It was flawless after 50 rounds. (I did simulate at home by cycling the whole mag and oiling the interfaces. Made an adjustment by pulling the adapter out to the max travel and tightened the set screw.)

This is my 9 mm AR magazine adapter does not work as designed. The issue is the ejector finger on the follower. It gets easily bent out of shape and will not eject, Causing a double feed. The extractor is made out of a composite plastic which does not hold up very well to the impact of the bolt.
