Deceptive marketing

Read the fine print. This is not made of carbon fiber despite that being in the name and Mountain Tactical claiming it is 40% lighter than original cheek riser. I understand there is a lot of faux carbon fiber out there but the combination of calling it carbon fiber, saying it’s 40% lighter and charging $20 more for it over their standard kydex cheek riser is deceptive if not down right fraudulent. I won’t be trusting Mountain Tactical any more.

I purchased the Streamlight Tailcap Assembly, Low, TLR-7A, TLR-9, Black, 69426 to get the low switch parts I wanted for my TLR-7 Sub that I have on my P365. Credit to jhilliardx on reddit for the idea. The low switches are not an option on the TLR-7 Sub and the high switches obstruct the trigger.
I removed the pin holding the plastic buttons on this part and my TLR-7 Sub, swapped the buttons and reinstalled the pins. Very easy swap.

Won't stay on the gun

SureFire XC1 Ultra-Compact LED Handgun Light
I bought this for my Glock 29 thinking that Surefire would have designed a solid product given their track record. Every time I shoot my gun with the light attached it falls off within 1 or 2 mags. I tried tightening the bolt that holds it on to the point where it broke. After I got a replacement bolt and made sure it was tight before shooting it again to no avail. The light fell off again. Now I'm stuck with a $260 gun light that won't attach to my gun. I can't return it since its been more than 30 days and Surefire won't do anything for me. They just tell me my Glock rail must be out of spec which I don't think is the case. Regardless, this light should have been designed to hold onto any glock rail regardless of any minor differences. Very disappointed in Surefire for this product.
